I've just returned home from a romantic adventure to see the love of my life. He inconveniently lives about 6,000 miles away from where I am currently living.
After putting in some serious hours at work, I was lucky enough to spend 3 weeks of pure bliss with him, and can't wait to go back! I miss him everyday.

I've always been a fan of mixing masculine pieces with feminine pieces and making them sexy-ish, but I'm thnking of going 'balls out' with the trend. (get it..haha)
I'm totally obsessed with very dainty looking women dressing extremely masculine, there is just something about it. Since my cash supply is... well nearly non exsistent, I'm going to have to do this on a very, I mean very very tight budget.

I needed to post this dinner, since my last visit to Utah left my mom a little worried that I wasn't eating enough, this has ALWAYS been a worry of hers. However, she has taught me well when it comes to the kitchen, I love to cook and so does Andrew (loves me to cook that is ;) ) Anyway, Ma don't worry I am eating plenty of healthy foods...when I have money! This dinner turned out to be so delicious, Grilled cheese veggie burgers with tomato, avocado, lettuce, and ranch. Roasted asparagus with garlic, and spanish rice! It was yummy and healthy!

I love this soup and so does the boyfriend, he begs me to make this soup! The soup is delicious, but I love to make some adjustments I love to add more broth, add bow tie pasta, and mushrooms, and garnish with parmesean cheese, and serve with garlic bread. This way the soup seems to be a bit more hearty.

Today I realized I am extremely excited for chunky sweaters, thermals, boots, tights, red lips, smokey eyes, messy hair, and woodsy perfume...all for fall!

this was actually a hair style from fashion week...I think Derek Lam (could be wrong though) love it~

Fall and winter months always seem like a good time to be a little more daring and edgy with your look.

The rain will be coming soon here in San Francisco and I am obsessed with "hunter" rainboots, the fit and comfort ratings are off the charts, which is exactly what I need for my many miles of walking in the rain... and what better color than the classic red... but they're $115! ouch-

I just finished reading my sister's keeper, it is the saddest book I've ever read, yet an incredible read, I highly recommend it! (I'm hiding my face because it is all red and puffy from my emotional reaction to the ending.) P.s. Temporarily curing homesickness

My sister was kind enough to send me homemade pumpkin-chocolate chip bread in the mail, we were a little worried about the state that it would arrive in, but after its long travel from Utah to California it arrived just as delicious as I remember. Homemade comfort food that means so much more when your far away from home.
